Once again a band of intrepid MoF set out to teach those Mediterranean ex-pats how to play Cricket. This of course didn't quite go to plan on the Saturday. Wilks however restored our pride on the Sunday with a MoF record breaking knock of 121 not out. Great memories of Jock, Godders, and the gang plus the mysterious MoF Moth. Enjoy!
2014 -09 Menorca CC tour
A tremendous Black tie event at St Michael's Manor celebrating the 30th year - actually almost 31st by the time we'd gotten round to organising this! - Year of the MoF
2014 30th Anniversary Dinner
Traditional Season Opener against Harefield and their squad of ex-internationals. By all accounts we gave a decent account of ourselves. Apparently TT wanted to scrub his performance off the face of the earth and has since claimed he wasn't there but as they say a picture paints a thousand words, especially when those words were lies TT!
2014 Harefield Mayday Bank Holiday
A tour to almost the heart of England's green and pleasant land. A what a pleasant land we found. Great laughs, great cricket. Captain Cock Block,Stirling and his “Blockbuster” shirt, Four Wheel Drive Monster Truck Crocs,Crocodile shoes The Hat, John Terry - the list goes on. Here's some photo highlights...

2011 Tour to Canterbury
... actually I seem to remember it being Roadwater. Anyways long forgotten photies recently unearthed on Smudger's laptop of the 2010 Tour. Who can forget TT the flying salmon catcher, Stella's "I counted him out to the middle and I counted him straight back in again" innings and of course the gay cyclistes...
2010 - Tour to Okehampton and RoadKill...
A hardy band of MoF formed to tackle the arduous 265 mile trip between St Albans and Sheepwash in Devon to track down the "lost" Fish. Ably supported by backup drivers, friends and family they raised a truly astonishing £10,000+ for Grove House. Here's their story in pictures, video and sound - sometimes the latter includes choice wordage so beware! (MEMBERS ONLY GALLERY)
2010 - The Devonian Job
Yes hard to believe isn't it. The Don - sixty years young.
2010 - The Don's 60th

2010 - Big Al's Day Out
Now known as "Terry". Abducted under the slightly sozzled nose of TT at last year's awards Terry languishes in a darkened cell, tied to a radiator, desperate to get home. MoF we can but pray and hope...

Yes hard to believe isn't it but the Big A is actually 60! To celebrate a hard-core MoF contingent braved the freezing temperatures and treacherous icy conditions to reach the safe warm haven of the Mermaid pub. There was a terrific montage of photograhic memories put together by the Don, an ode by the Jock, and Wingman protection provided by Smudger to stave off those gooners wanting to punch the Big Al's newly scribed Cock... -eral. The night was rounded off by a universal agreement on the
2009 - Big Al's 60th
A marvellous evening of high entertainment; Mr & Mrs, lookalikes, Turnips, Jungle book recitals, Awards galore and a special guest appearance from Harry Hill! Later the Messiah took bitter with his disciples who engaged in the ritualistic chanting of "Down in one, down in one down in one..." Also watch out for the latest installment in the MoF's very own version of Waldorf and Statler - namely TT and Godders
2009 - MoF Awards night Dinner
Jock, Rookie,TT Dab, some sticks, balls, a foreign destination for Rookie's Birthday and a Tam O shanter. Hmmm.
2009 - Carvoeiro Golf
MoF selflessly leave Wives and Kids behind to do battle in the annual 2009 Golf day at Royal St Batchwood. With many hosting hangovers the size of Birmingham from Fozzie's 40th the previous evening the quality of play was truly amazing. Afterwards awards at the Six Bells with a special present to our Fish out of water...
2009 - MoF Golf Day
A marvellous evening at Bar62 in St Albans held on the 16th October 2009. How he managed to win the MoF golf compo the next day defies belief!
2009 - Fozzie's 40th Birthday
If the rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain do the MoF in Menorca mostly drink the wa'er? Err no - Lager. Fabulous pics of the Menorcan MoF's on a memorable 2009 tour.
2009 - MoF Marvellous Menorca Tour
The GFCC fourball better know as “Team Moscow” was victorious in the main team event at the Grove House Golf Day at Aldwickbury. The team comprised Jock, Tiny Tim, Rookie and Moscow (a.k.a. The Dab). All the team scored fantastically despite missing a ton of putts between us. Jock also won the individual prize for “bandit” handicappers, pipping the Dab himself… Anyway, the real point of the note is that the day raises around £12k for a cause very close to our hearts for obvious reasons.
2009 - Grove House Golf Day
Anuual pilgrimmage to the home of Cricket. Brekkers, travel followed by drinking, cricket watching, annoying fellow spectators, loss of dignity, loud debating with the officials, staggering out, extracting money from a train ticket machine, improving on last year's world record of emptying a packed commuter train carriage merely by getting on and then finally a fine ruby to round off a day that you'd like to remember but just can't. This year saw a new event to try after 20 pints - killer darts.
